Julius Richardson is an accomplished Chief Talent Officer and a visionary in DEI Leadership and Human Capital Management, with an extensive background spanning over 20 years in both the public and private sectors. His professional journey is marked by significant achievements in talent acquisition, strategic planning, and leadership, particularly within the realms of industry, fintech, transportation and logistics, and healthcare. Julius’s career began in the United States Marine Corps, where he excelled in supply and logistics operations overseas and demonstrated exceptional skills as a canvassing recruiter, identifying and nurturing the next generation of Marines. His Marine Corps career includes multiple combat tours ranging from Iraq and Afghanistan with numerous unit and personal awards of distinction.

He is an alumnus of Jacksonville University, holding a double major in business management and marketing, further enriched by a Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership. This solid educational foundation has underpinned his successful transition to a post-military career, where he has leveraged his expertise to identify, hire, and select hundreds of executives and professionals across diverse sectors.

As the founder and CEO of SunRise Talent Solutions, LLC, a leading RPO staffing firm, Julius has been at the forefront of providing innovative and sustainable talent strategies. Under his leadership, SunRise Talent Solutions is dedicated to optimizing hiring costs and creating diverse talent pools, particularly in communities and among marginalized groups. The firm’s mission is to unlock individuals’ true talents, enhance career literacy, and build a skilled workforce poised to make meaningful contributions. Julius’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is a testament to his desire to effect positive change in individuals and society at large.

With a proven track record in managing marketing teams and delivering successful projects, Julius has demonstrated expertise in staffing assessments and alignments with budgets and activities, partnering in global staffing strategies for over 70 countries. His leadership extends to Talent Acquisition, Succession Planning, Talent Development, and Onboarding functions for multinational organizations, supporting a workforce of approximately 650 salaried exempt and nonexempt employees nationally and globally.
